The Type of Assistance we have Provide
 


These are just a few of the things your contributions have done to help families of children with Cancer.

1.) A 15 year old girl with CM Leukemia. After keeping up with bills for 3 years mom how finds herself a single parent (her husband died suddenly). Help with major repairs needed to keep the home livable is requested. 

2.) A 2 year old girl with an Optic glio ma. She also suffers from Neurofibromatosis2. Due to time off work, help with household bills, including mortgage and car payments, are needed.  

3.) A 2 1/2 year old boy has been diagnosed with a Rhabdomyosarcoma His mom had to quit her job and the dad does not have a high paying job because of his own health problems. Help is needed with household bills, starting with National Fuel and National Grid.  

4.) Medical payments for a 16 year old boy that is now battling the fifth reoccurence of lung cancer.

5.) Home and car payments for a family of a 4 year old boy who is undergoing treatment at Strong Memorial.

6.) 19 year old boy was diagnosed with ALL, under went chemotherapy, radiation and a double cord transplant. .He passed away and assistance with funeral expenses was needed.   

7.) A mortgage payment for a widowed mother whose daughter was in the final days of her fight with brain cancer.

8.) Co-payments for a family of a young girl that has a brain tumor and undergone brain surgery, radiation and chemotherapy treatment.

9.) A 16 year old girl with AL Leukemia. Mom has had to stop working to help care for her. 1 1/2 hour trips to and from the hospital are expensive along with parking. All this has caused a financial strain. Help with gas and parking is needed. Also for reimbursement of hotel costs. In early 2017 help with funeral expenses was needed.  

10.) Travel expenses for a young man to travel to Seattle to consult with a facility about his Ewing's Sarcoma.

These are just a few of the things we have done. We have numerous requests currently on hold. We never want to have to turn down a request due to a lack of funds, thus the reason for the expansion of our fund raising base.
