These are just a few of the things your contributions have done to help families of children with Cancer.
1.) Home care for a family of a young lady whose Mother was forced to stop working so that she could be with her daughter.
2.) Travel expenses to Sloan Kettering after a failed bone marrow transplant.
3.) Provided a 16 year old girl with a quality hair replacement, after the reoccurrence of a brain tumor.
4.) Medical payments for a 16 year old boy that is now battling the fifth reoccurence of lung cancer.
5.) Home and car payments for a family of a 4 year old boy who is undergoing treatment at Strong Memorial.
6.) Half of a months phase III approved medication for a girl after all "normal" medications have not worked successfully.
7.) A mortgage payment for a widowed mother whose daughter was in the final days of her fight with brain cancer.
8.) Co-payments for a family of a young girl that has a brain tumor and undergone brain surgery, radiation and chemotherapy treatment.
9.) Home care co-payments for the mother of a young lady with Hodgkin's Lymphoma.
10.) Travel expenses for a young man to travel to Seattle to consult with a facility about his Ewing's Sarcoma.
These are just a few of the things we have done. We have numerous requests currently on hold. We never want to have to turn down a request due to a lack of funds, thus the reason for the expansion of our fund raising base.
